Ed Emmett Too Dishonest to be County Judge

(Houston, TX) — During a debate with Democratic challenger David Mincberg on Friday, Republican Harris County Judge Ed Emmett said, “I’ve never been a lobbyist, I had to register as a lobbyist 10 or 12 years ago because I ran a trade association, but I’ve never lobbied.” But a look at Emmett’s personal financial statements and employment history show that Emmett’s statement was just plain dishonest.
