We are so lucky to be at the center of big things happening in Harris County. We need your help in making sure your local candidates become the elected leaders we need. Please join us and many of our candidates this Saturday, August 16th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, as we open the doors to our new Coordinated Campaign Office in Crosby! The office is located at 6500 FM 2100, Suite 210 (map). We will be sharing this space with Diane Trautman, your Democratic candidate for Tax Assessor/Collector.
An exciting program featuring guest speakers, food, drinks, and your fellow Democrats will kick off promptly at 11:00 am. Harris County’s Democratic turnout during the March primary was unprecedented, and we need that same enthusiasm for Democrats come the general election this November. The Republicans in Harris County have proven they will do whatever it takes to hold on to their offices, and it will take all of our effort as a community to restore integrity and accountability to our public officials.
We want to start of our efforts in Northeast Harris County with a bang, and we need your help to make it happen! Teams of Volunteers are needed before, during, and after the event to help make this event special. Volunteer activities include:
* Set Up Team - volunteers to set up stage, decorations, and event tables before the event.
* Event Staff - volunteers to staff sign-in, merchandise, and information tables.
* Serving Crew - volunteers to set up food, serve food, clean up.
