What to Bring:
(1) your voter registration card
AND
(2) A government-issued photo ID (Like a drivers license, a DPS ID card, or a passport)
AND
(3) One other form of identification which shows your name and address, such as:
- A recent bank statement
- A recent utility bill
- A government check
- A paycheck
- A letter from the IRS
You probably won’t need all of these, but there are some situations where you do have to have specific ones of them. Better safe than sorry. If you don’t have documents in all three categories, take as many as you have. It may be enough.
And maybe you should also bring . . .
- a bottle of water
- a tasty snack
- a friend who wants to vote
